3/4 Jumpers peeled!

I will never again buy another jumper from this brand, I bought 4 jumps of which 3 of them peeled after wearing them only a couple of times. I have not even washed them yet. The only one that did not peel was one made of cotton the others were all Lambswool. Awful, awful quality they are all going in the bin!

Complaint not resolved

Before Xmas I bought 2 Woolover cashmere/merino dressing gowns - one for each of my 2 daughters. Not long after Christmas I noticed that one of the dressing gowns had unravelled in 2 places. I have tried without success to get some resolution to this problem. Woolovers initially were positive and said this product would be replaced. I sent photographs. My last conversation was with Ian Buckeridge who promised replacement direct to
My daughter in Kent. This was weeks ago. So far nothing has transpired and the company is not replying to me. So - think carefully before using Woolovers. Very disappointing.

Very pleased with colors, quality, and delivery time

I don't know why WoolOvers isn't rated more highly. I took a chance on ordering from an unsolicited catalog as they had the zipper cardigans that I've been looking for for several years. I was afraid that they would pill since they are made in China. HowEVer, I've worn the 4 sweaters I ordered practically every day for 2 months of winter and they are still basically unpilled. My husband suggested that although they were made in China, perhaps it was from British wool that made the difference. I then ordered gifts for my family and they are happy with the colors and quality. Although the sweaters were shipped from England, they came in record time, MUCH shorter time than US shipments from California, for example. I was thinking of ordering more, but the styles I like are out of stock.

Please avoid this company

I ordered a few sweaters as a presents for my family and sent it to Russia. Order took forever to dispatch. Total delivery time from the day of order was 5 weeks. I was fine with it as it is better than not getting it delivered at all. After it was delivered my family reached out to me and sent some photos. One of the sweaters was the wrong color. I was upset and reached out to customer service about my experience. Customer service, the agent with name Olga, said that she is really sorry and asked to sent pictures of the sweater that my family got. I sent it. She said that ti make sure that it is a wrong color I will have to send it AT MY OWN EXPENSE back to England. They will look at the sweater and tell if it is the wrong color. The color that I ordered called "Marble"(brown), the color that I got "Ashes"(grey)[pictures attached]. So I asked my family to put smth grey near the sweater and take a picture. My sister put standard nike sweatpants and took a picture. I sent that as a response to Olga and said that unfortunately, I can't send the sweater back: 1.it is expensive to send it at my own expense for them "to look at the color". 2. It was a gift for Christmas.
Olga's response was completely unprofessional and rude: she said that computer monitors (she made some grammar mistakes) are temp to change the color and makes the sweater look grey. She said that I had been sent the Marble color and that I don't see the difference. She also asked very rudely why I sent her a picture of a sweater with grey pants nearby. She said "it is not even a wool". I think it is an absolutely unacceptable customer service that is trying to make you look like a fool. Avoid at any price!

Bought 2 'coatigans'

I bought two coatigans from Woolovers: one, I needed to sew back on ALL the buttons as they immediately came loose/hung by a thread. The other one (which I still haven't worn) the buttonholes frayed. I will get around to sewing them - eventually. Although they look nice, basically, these inferior quality items were MADE IN CHINA. So, I don't know why they have the nerve to advertise under British Woollens.

I would also give NO STARS if I could

I would also give NO STARS if I could. If you are ordering from the United States do not expect anything for 1 months or more because I have yet to receive the shipment. My order was backed up in their warehouse in the UK. The customer service lady was rude and could care less and just said ok ok. Do not expect Santa to be on time. Very unfortunate.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I ordered 2 jumpers as Christmas presents on 23r Nov. By 7th Dec still had not arrived and are showing as at Hermes but with no delivery estimate. Rang Woolovers "Customer Service" team, they couldn't care less. Told me it would take 72 (3 days) to investigate when I said then what? I was told Hermes would deliver it or I would get a refund. Doesn't take the brains of an archbishop to know it will be a refund as it is lost. So will have to re-order from elsewhere and likely miss the posting dates I was working to. Spend your money elsewhere on a firm that values customers.

Once a decent place to purchase wool sweaters: but no more

Over a several year period, I purchased a number of sweaters from WoolOvers. But in the past year their quality has gone way down. For example I bought two yak wool sweaters. They literally fell apart. I emailed the company and they did not have the courtesy to respond to my enquiry. I have several
Sweaters made by this company. The earlier ones are so much better. The newer ones are of a much thiner wool and have pilled badly. They no longer produce their sweaters in the U. K. and it shows in the very reduced quality of their products. As they got larger, they took to offering cheaper wool and inferior products.

I an individual who loves wool sweaters, and unfortunately this company no longer is worth the expense of buying from them.
